Taco Pizzas


This family love tacos and we love pizza.  So naturally when I saw a recipe online for Taco Pizza, I knew it would be a hit.  I normally double this recipe and make 1 beef and 1 chicken taco pizza when everyone is home.  

Ingredients:

  • 1 Crescent roll dough
  • 1 pound of ground beef (or use shredded chicken for a chicken taco pizza)
  • Taco seasoning
  • 8oz sour cream
  • 4 oz softened cream cheese
  • 8 oz bag shredded cheese
  • 1 bag shredded lettuce
  • Jar of your favorite salsa

Preparation:

  • Stretch out crescent dough into a sheet pan to make a rectangle.  
  • Bake it at 350 for about 7-8 minutes and let cool.
  • While that is baking, cook beef, drain off fat, and season generously with taco seasoning.
  • Mix sour cream and cream cheese together and spread over the crescent crust as the base, leaving an edge all around.
  • Top sour cream base with beef and shredded cheese.
  • Bake another 5 minutes to melt cheese.
  • Top with shredded lettuce and salsa.
