Ingredients:
- 2-4 medium to large lobster tails
- 1/2 stick of unsalted butter
- 1 packed tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cloves garlic
- vegetable oil
- Set butter out to become room temperature and soft.
- Once soft, mix in garlic, parsley, and salt and set aside.
- First, use some kitchen sheers / scissors to cut the shell open from the open side down the middle to just before the end of the tail.
- Use your thumbs to separate the lobster meat from shell gently. (It will easily separate).
- Run your fingers under the bottom of the shell as well to separate the meat from the bottom.
- Once finished the lobster meat could be almost totally removed from the shell.
- Cut the lobster meat down the center and spread / press it back to flatten.
- Heat grill to about about 400-450.
- Season lobster tail with salt and pepper and brush with vegetable oil.
- Cook meat side down on the grill for about 4 minutes. It should easily release from the grill.
- Flip to shell side and coat the meat with the butter mixture.
- Close grill lid and cook another 5 minutes.
