The Best Broccoli Salad

 


This broccoli salad is based off my mom's recipe with a few extras added.  It is a crowd-pleaser, especially in the summertime.  It goes well with fried seafood, steaks, chicken, or just about anything really.  

Ingredients:
4 cups broccoli florets chopped small
3.5 oz bag pecans and cranberries (usually in salad dressing area)
5 strips bacon cooked and crumbled or 3.5 oz bag bacon pieces
6 oz shredded cheddar
1/2 red onion chopped
1 cup mayo
1/2 cup Ranch dressing
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon sugar (more if you like it sweeter)
pinch of salt 
 
Preparation:
Chop broccoli into small pieces
Mix broccoli, red onion, pecans & cranberries, cheese, and onion together.
In a separate bowl, mix together the dressing ingredients.
Pour dressing over the broccoli mix and mix well. 
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
