Tortilla strips are the perfect topper for chilis and soups or just as a snack. Tortilla chips are excellent with dips, humus, and salsas. Either way, when they are fresh made at home, they are always better. These are cheaper than store bought, much tastier, and only take a few minutes to make!
Ingredients:
corn tortillas
olive oil spray
salt
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 400.
Use a pizza cutter to cut tortillas into strips.
To make chips, cut the tortillas in half and then into 4 triangles per half.
Arrange strips or chips on a sheet pan and spray both sides with olive oil spray generously.
Salt them as well on 1 side.
Place in oven for 2 minutes.
Remove, flip and salt other side.
Cook about 2 more minutes.
Check for perfect crispiness that you like and either add another minute or allow to cool and serve.
