Grandma Walker's German Chocolate Cake

Every holiday season my grandma Walker made a German chocolate cake that the family raved about.  At the time, I didn't try a piece of it because I didn't care for coconut as a kid but my mom would make me bring her a piece back home after my Christmas visits because it was her favorite.  I got my hands on the original hand-written recipe that she used and made it for Knox's birthday this year (2020).  Now that I like coconut a little better, I can see why everyone in the family loved this cake.  Let's be sure to continue making this cake and passing down the recipe!
