Creamy Garlic Parmesan Shrimp
This recipe is really about the cream sauce because it’s so good you could put it on fish or chicken cutlets as well.
Ingredients:
1 pound shrimp (peeled)
1 shallot, chopped small (in onion section)
4 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/3 cup half and half (more if needed)
1 lemon
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper
Preparation:
In a large skillet on medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and shallots and cook 1 minute. Add half and half, juice of the lemon, cheese, and Dijon mustard. Mix well and let thicken slightly. Add more half and half if it thickens too much. Add in shrimp, cover, and simmer for 3-4 minutes until shrimp are light pink. Remove from pan and drizzle extra sauce on top! Yum!
