Meatball Sliders

It's Football season which means it's Saturday Game Day season which means....sliders, wings, nachos and more!  I love sliders because the are little and cute and yummy too!  You can put burgers in them, meatballs, pulled pork, chicken, whatever and they are perfect for Game Day snacks!  Also the kids like slider rolls for their school lunch sandwiches too.  This recipe is for BBQ meatball sliders and Italian meatball sliders.

Ingredients:
Frozen Everyday Meatballs (see recipe on the blog - or, if you must, buy frozen meatballs, just don’t tell me)
Your favorite BBQ sauce and/or Marinara Sauce
Your favorite cheese (I like white American with BBQ meatballs and shredded mozzarella with Italian)
Slider rolls

Preparation:
In a large pan, cook meatballs about 2-3 minutes on all sides until browned and cooked through or preheat oven to 400 and cook in the oven for 20 minutes.
Drain off any fat on meatballs and put in a clean pot with sauce of choice.  Warm with sauce about 10 minutes.
Fold or cut cheese into quarters so that it is small enough for sliders unless working with shredded cheese.
Toast slider rolls in oven for 1.5 - 2 minutes, until lightly toasted.  This helps keep them from getting soggy.
Add cheese to bottom and top of slider roll and place meatball in the middle.
Serve them up and watch them go!
